- Star Fox Zero is a fair attempt at adding a new spin to the space shooter genre. Its presentation is generally nice, with some nice set pieces, although sometimes it can feel sparse in imagination. The controls can be fiddly, as it leaves the player wanting just that bit extra control, which isn't possible because it's a limited concept -- using the handheld screen to aim. There is only so much that can be done with it. This can limit the level designs too, but given the limitations (not making it harder than it should be), the level design is tight and nicely demanding. It sometimes feels like a roller coaster, which is great.
Some of the dogfights are dull, and collecting everything may be tedious, but it's a fun little game that is worth a try just for the flying experience. Not for the walker experience though, as that has awkward controls.
One thing though: sadly the midium t-shirt didn't fit me, and there wasn't a large available.
