About the Game

Bravely Default: Where the Fairy Flies is now available exclusively on Nintendo 3DS.

Embark on a journey in the world of Luxendarc, the welfare of which relies on four elemental crystals.

According to tradition, crystals are looked after by chosen priestesses, the vestals, who all bear the name Oblige. As of late, terrible events have befallen the land and the power of the crystals seems to be waning.

Follow the quest of Agnès Oblige, the Vestal of Wind, and her companions, as they race to restore balance in Luxendarc by awakening the crystals.

Fantastic experience :) the game reminds of classic Final Fantasy adventures but with some very modern twists on the gameplay and even the nature of how the narrative is told. Some lovely QOL aspects too such as being able to turn off random battles at any time, lower difficulty etc. Voice Acting is top notch quality and endlessly charming. I would say the full game beginning to end with all extras explored in a good 60-70 hours, but I'm on my second playthrough so plenty of replay value too.

Without spoiling too much, there is a mechanic where you replay past battles as part of the main story, which gets very very tedious and blemishes a somewhat perfect game.
